Fellow developers and partners

Fellow developers, agencies and specialists in the same trade. Some I know from a shared project, most from a conversation. The level on each card says which.

Fellow developers and partners

Why this page exists

I hear from other developers and agencies most weeks. Sometimes to take something on together, more often just to get acquainted. They are people in the same trade, which means we can just as easily be each other's competition. Nothing wrong with that: anyone looking for work that does not suit me should know where to go instead.

So this page is not a list of people I work with. It is an overview of people in the trade I have spoken to, with the level shown on each card. Some I know from a shared project, most only from a conversation and their own work.

That difference is stated on purpose, because it decides how much my listing is worth. At the lowest level I say no more than that someone exists and does something. Only once we have built something together do I say more.

Three levels of collaboration

Not every partnership is the same, so not every listing is the same. The level is visible on the card.

Working on a project together

Project partner

We did a client or a project together. You get your own card with a short description of that work and a regular link to your site.

What I ask: a mention on your side, or room for an article of mine.

Referrals within the network

Network partner

A fellow developer, agency or adviser I refer to when a question suits you better than me. Your own card, regular link.

What I ask: that you do the same the other way round when it comes up.

Listing on the partner page

Listing

Signed up, no shared work yet. Your name, your specialism and a few sentences on what you do. The link carries rel="nofollow" for now.

The reason: I have not seen your work in practice yet and I do not recommend anything I cannot stand behind.

The network

The ground rules

Short and without detours, so you can judge for yourself whether it fits.

What I ask of you

  • Your own site and a registration with the chamber of commerce or its equivalent
  • Work that touches web, IT, AI or the processes around them
  • A twenty minute introduction before you go on the page
  • Room for an article of mine, or a mutual referral

What I do not take part in

  • Ready made link swaps without knowing each other or having worked together
  • Paid placements or fixed rates for a listing
  • Gambling, loans, adult or other topics that do not suit my readers
  • Articles with pre agreed anchor text that say nothing

What you get back from me

An article that holds up

Not a thin three hundred word piece with a link in it, but a worked out article on AI adoption, process improvement or technical SEO that your readers get something out of. We pick the topic together.

A technical review

I look at the speed, findability and security of your site free of charge and send you what I find. Concrete, without a sales pitch.

Referrals

When a question comes in that suits you better, I pass it on. That happens more often than people expect: I regularly say no to work that is not mine.

Send a short email with who you are, what you do, a link to your work and where you think we strengthen each other. A few sentences is enough, no pitch needed. I reply within two working days and set up a call if it looks like a match.
